I realise that hokkien people are rather violent people. Why do i say this? The reason is that i manage to dig out so many synonyms associated with the verb "beat" in the hokkien dialect.

Now according to my contextual definition, "beat" comes to refer to the physical action of inflicting mechanical damage onto something so if you are going to tell me heartbeat etc, i am going to beat you.
