Hi there... Happy Mother's Day

Hi there everybody... I am Farmer Tan here. Today as all filial sons and daughters know, is Mother's Day. Yepp... And I, 陈农夫 has taken the additional step of commemorating Mother's Day by celebrating with everyone's Mother. I am serious... Everyone, mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers included, heck...everyone on earth, we all share a same Mother. Does 土地妈妈 rings a bell? It's Mother Earth damnit...

And so by assuming the vocation of the farmer today, I am going the further step by bringing more meaning into the term of Mother's Day. Haha, ain't that cool? Don't I rock??? Go on, everybody, go erect a shrine in my homage now and be sure to include a donation booth that accepts only banknotes in the denominations of USD$100. Haha... I am sure the response would be overwhelming. (Don't be shy people...)

So what do I mean by commemorating Mother Earth or Geia on Mother's Day huh? Well folks as we all know, women love to be pretty right? Being the environment that bear and nourishes us all, she doesn't deserves anything less than that. Of course, buying M.A.C. products is unpractical so being the down-to-earth person I am, I decided to reverse some environmental degradation that has been festering on moi farm. Look below... That's the thing that I am trying to tackle for today. Moi mission is to eradicate the hasty grave look. I am going to break up the large lumpy soil into smaller bitesized portions. :D

If ya interested in booking this hamsen plot of land as your eternal resting place, go on and drop me a tag. Price is negotiable... Oh did i mention that I will give you plenty of watering and sprinkling of chicken manure regularly. Plus, to add style, veggies will be planted atop of you to decorate the place a bit... How'd ya like that? Great!? Awww... I knew that ya dig that!! (The pun was intended, grave hunter)

My tools of the trade

The humble rake.

The humble mini Changkol.

Big house sights small house...

After a few seconds of backstraining work, I realised that sometimes, mini ain't the way to go for certain things. So I radioed for Big Momma to come in. There you go, Big Momma is longer and certainly made the work easier. Well, the job was completed in 1/2 hour's time but the funny thing is that my after photo just refused to load. Strange...

I further beautified Geia by plucking weeds by the truckloads from the vegetable beds and ended up sweating buckets. And we left the farm, feeling very sure that Mother Earth had a very happy Mother's Day. :D
