우리집 is a 2002 MBC production which stars a guest Japanese actress (Fueki Yuko) as part of a cross-border cultural exchange. The drama centres primarily on the everday life of a varsity freshman Han Wuri (Kim Jae Won) who falls in love with a mute female student, Duoyin (Fueki Yuko) from the Arts faculty. By doing so, he causes an uproar in his close knit family which vehemently objects to his relationship. His relationship with Duoyin takes another twist when viewers discover that Wuri's childhood friend, Taixi (Kim Hyo Jin) also takes a keen interest in Wuri, albeit passively.
What spices up this classic love triangle situation is the sudden return of Yingxun (Kim Rae Won), an impetuous American-based Korean who fancied Taixi since childhood. The interaction between the characters locked in the love "Square" as well as the (mostly)hilarious banter between the supporting leads helps to make this show a very enjoyable one.
Currently airing on Channel U every Sunday at 1.30pm for a 2 hour slot~
