Corolla

The Japanese Corolla 1.5G

I don't care what people are saying that Thailand is becoming the "Detroit" of South-East-Asia or that South East Asia is a sizeable trading bloc to warrant her own unique Corolla. All that i know is that there is NO WAY i will ditch a Japanese Corolla in favour of a Tom Yum Corolla Altis, PERIOD.

Corolla Altis 1.5SE a.k.a. Tom Yum Corolla

A heavier fuselage, an inferior drag coefficient, nondescript fuel economy are some bad technical specifications of the Tom Yum Corolla that already provide with enough reason not to buy it.

Furthermore, tell me... Can anyone possibly any workers possibly match the zeal and enthusiasm the Japanese have for their work. Such passion and perfectionism is rooted in their culture. Sorry, i am not saying that the Thais are bad but the Japanese are simply MUCH better.

Remember that thought Toyota having the honour of automating their entire assembly process, it's the Quality Control that gives the driver and the ignorant passenger the peace of mind as well as the luxury to take things on the road for granted.

Even if the whole world derides the Japanese Corolla for its Humpty Dumpty exterior design, I will still appreciate it for all it's worth in the aesthetical department, satified that it's a class above the Altis...
