I got a shock earlier on when my Captain saw me and exclaimed,"Junhao, what happened to your eyes? They are swollen!!" With the recent contact lens Hulabaloo still fresh in mind, i immediately rushed to the toilet to take a look. Nope... They weren't bloodshot or anything like that. I am puzzled as to why he said that. Then to secure reassurance that there's nothing wrong, i asked another Platoon Sergeant. "Hey, do you think my eyes are red or something like that? Captain Tan reckoned that they are swollen..." Thankfully, his response was a benign one.
However he commented that my eyes seem somewhat wider in width a.k.a slit eyes. -_- Was sort of offended there but never mind though... I was ardently hoping that being spectacle-less can revitalise my image or make me look better or something. Sigh... I guess the effects of having to don glasses since the age of 8 indeed are difficult to fight off. But my family members did say that i look "okay" what... Maybe i can count on some constructive feedback if i do meet the gang this weekend. So as to have a conclusive self-verdict on this trial.
Anyway on a more joyous note, i am well on track to acquiring my next PC. *Stands upright, flashing Victory sign against a kaleidoscopic Rising Sun and laughing manically!!
