Unforgettable

It was a simple ceremony done barely 2 hours ago at this point. Urong, Chuan and i held aloft 3 cups of plain water and toasted each other. The toasting was deserving of the accolades for the chalet had turned out far much better than we would have dared to imagine on the onset. So there we were, the email i/c, the booking i/c and the purchase i/c beaming near the closing stages of an unforgettable adventure.
I think it's apt here for me to give credit to everyone.
Thank you, everybody for making the effort to come down for the chalet. Your presence helped the outing dynamic.

Thank you, Chuan for booking this chalet. It came at an unbelievable cost of $18 and i left feeling wealthier than before.

Thank you, Jasper for contributing your bbq pit and steamboat. Who would have thought that 5 years ago in Secondary 3, your idea of having a bbq with us utilising your bbq pit would be realised.

Thank you, Marleen for granting us eye power. (haha, joking only...) For helping to bring utiltarian items that helped make our chalet stay as ideal as possible and also, giving me a pillow beating that transformed me into a video celeb unwittingly.

Thank you, Tara for making the tiramisu and thus, giving a touch of class to our chalet. It is amazing given that you have taken to our cliche in such a short time, no easy feat.

Thank you, Weili for bringing the huge armada of fishballs and the tiny mahjong set. Of course, your quirky sense of corny humour was much appreciated. *Stifles a laugh.

Thank you, Urong for reinvigorating the Chalet initiative at a timely juncture. Your unorthodox skills and unique knowledge has succesfully baffled me once more.

Thank you, last but not least Dan for coming at least no matter how cameo your stay was.

I really want to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart again to let me believe again that a chalet with friends can be one of the greatest joys in life.

If you are looking for an account of the stay, then i beseech you to look no further than the photos that i have taken. Look at them and close your eyes. Let yourself trawl the endless depths of your memories and imagination. Feel the infectious laughter echoing through the house. Feel the kick of eating and drinking till our hearts' contents. Relive those hilarious moments once more...

A gangartuan BBQ, an instant noodle steamboat and frank talks that let me gain a deeper understanding of everyone... How i wish i can relive this again!

[BEFORE] Erm... A man and a lady in a potentially compromising (or already?) position. Seems like Chuan is catching a free show!!

[AFTER] Looks pretty scandalous, if you ask me....

The self-obsessed Jasper

The bedroom on the upper floor was a bit cramped but that didn't cramp our style when it came to living it up during our stay...

Spooksville Disc A

Spooksville Disc B

Too bad we didn't managed to persuade the other guys to strip semi-naked as well, haha...

A bird's eye view

Food galore... Heard of Steamboat at chalet? Now you see it for yourself...

Our 2 ladies...

Our two ladies + 1 handsome dude...

Our scrumptious and signature noodles steamboat...

Yummy tiramisu!!

Sinful indulgence, don't you think?

"Class photo"

Pose by the stairs. This is one technically challenging photo to take. Note the drastic contrast in the staircase due to the hidden light on a horizontal beam.

Chuan sustained a deep cut in his middle finger while washing the BBQ grille.
