I found myself booking out of camp at a relatively early timing of 1230hrs yesterday... Haha, what a slacker i am..But i was simply booking out early for a physiotherapy session at MMI. I was going for what is known as the ITB release. Sounds liberating? You're wrong... the whole process was excruciating, i repeat EXCRUCIATING...
Before the actual process, i had to endure 15 minutes with an ice pack strapped to my left thigh. So it was freaking cold... After the cryogenic icing treatment, the friendly physiotherapist whipped out her clenched right fist and told me to lie on my right side. I was thinking... Oh dear, my day of reckoning has arrived... Someone please save me...
What she actually did was to apply extreme pressure along my tight ITB along the thigh so as to loosen it. For a moment i was wondering if she was trying to murder me. Surprisingly, my high pain threshold yielded no yeaps of pain. She was visibly impressed. Apparently, many Commandos and Guardmens let out bloodcurdling screams when subjected to this"P.O.W" Torture treatment. Bah... and i, a measly signaller simply grimaced in silence... Shame on the red and khaki berets... Haha, rofl, lmao and whatever stupid abbreviations out there...
