What a shame... For the sake of getting a waive for the activation fee, i actually whiled my time away queuing at the Starhub Booth. Just when my turn is up, i got greeted by a surly fella, Wilson. Loathsome character, filled with disrespect for the customer [read, me] So in the end, i got myself a no-frills package at 2000kbps for a contractual period of 18 months which got me a wireless bundle of a Linksys G router and a USB wireless transceiver.
I never got the chance to really walk the walk at Suntec yesterday. by the time the transaction was done, it was a really a grand 1745hrs with 4 people waiting for me. So naturally i had to give up the chance to scour through the SMEs booths at level 6. Oh what the heck... Never mind. But the biggest source of irritation i acquired was the apparent misinformation at the Starhub Booth. Neither was i informed nor was it clearly displayed that i has to redeem the router and USB adaptor 7 days later. But what can i do anyway? i could quit and leave but that would make a fallacy of my endless queuing. So, LL.
Everyone was in their trademark getups. Rye in his usual collar shirt and jeans, Psy Duck oops.. I mean Marleen in her usual black pullover (not purple??), Weili in his streetwear and Tara in her oh-so-Tara outfit. To avoid the throng or so i believed, we got ourselves out of jam-packed Suntec and found ourselves at Millenia Walk. We had our dinner at Silk Road Noodle Bar as well. But i would say that i was appalled by the culinary standards. I did a double take when i saw the desserts arrive in disposable plastic containers. I nearly gasped in outrage. One shouldn't present disposable containers if he/she is aiming to position his/her eatery as a fashionable niche eatery. Right?

At the Silk Road Noodle Bar...
A candid shot... I wonder what Tara was think about... Haha
What a pity that Urong san, Jasper and Dan weren't around. The atmosphere would have gotten up a few notches with the usual theatrics...
