It's preposterous, bordering on blasphemy... Loansharks, who the hell do they think they are??? I was filled with bitterness when i read about the plights of the Seahs. I was inflamed further still when i realised that they were residing not too far off from me. Those bloodsuckers had the effrontery to threaten and employ in their fold, crude intimidation tactics such as splashing of paint or kerosene. Plain distasteful.
It enrages me to hear of such blatant disregard of the law of the land. When everyone (almost) is quietly toeing the line, what gives these hoodlums the mandate to take law upon their filthy hands? Simply outrageous, nothing short of showing plain contempt for the law!
In my opinion, these hand-bloodied beasts should be subjected to a more stringent Act. The Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act lacks enough clout to do the job properly. When it's necessary, it should be advocated that one shed the velvet gloves and employ an iron-fisted approach, mercy conveniently absent. Let's practise on them(those buggers)what Condi Rice terms as "rendition".
Why should clemency be shown to a group of wayward criminals who would stop at nothing just so to derive monetary benefits at the expense of mental trauma, broken families and hope? If they can take an unborn life in the womb today, what would possibly restrain them from snuffing out the life of the unsuspecting kinsfolk of the supposed "debtors". The debtors are in no better position as i see fit from my moral high horse. Merely perpetrating the vicious cycle of poverty and extending an ever present demand for those moneylenders from hell.
For now, i hope for just one thing. Let those criminals return to where they belong-hell.
