Since i post blog entries at such a horrendous rate, i shall post another one. This one howeve, has great concern and is meant for a specific target audience which i shall detail later on...
Right. Mindef has officially described its stand on bloggers, more specifically servicemen who engage in the leisure of weblogging. Blogging as i quote COL Bernard Lim, "is to be encouraged" as it "enhances camaraderie and the national service experience". Whether blogging does lead to these positive effects, i shall leave it up to you to decide. More importantly, MIDEF has clearly stated that posting information on blogs is subjected to preexisting regulations which governs communication of information.
To the bugger who has just dispose of his SBO barang barang through a formal Dekit, "Mindef monitors postings over the various communication media" In other words, WE'RE BEING WATCHED, not unlike characters from George Orwell's novel 1984. This is with regards to a certain episode which played out in a recent Multi-Contact conversation on MSN if you still remember...
And to Urong, pls be careful of what you host on your web domain too...
